Dr. Gibbs

Dr Robert Gibbs has been practicing medicine since 1998. His aspiration towards medicine spans over four decades. Dr Gibbs was born in Harlem, New York and reared in Camden, New Jersey. As a child, his only dream was to become a doctor. Dr Gibbs broke barriers in his community and was a top graduate from his high school in 1983 and went on to attend The University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr Gibbs graduated in 1987 with a focused premedical curriculum and a BA in Psychology. 

Post-undergraduate, Dr Gibbs prepared for a career in medicine with internships, externships, and post baccalaureate programs for experience in various aspects of medicine before attending Temple University School of Medicine. In 1998, Dr Gibbs fulfilled his life dream of becoming a doctor while redefining expectations and relocated across the country to Los Angeles, California for training in General Surgery and Hepatobiliary & Transplant Surgery. Over the years, Dr Gibbs received training in general surgery, trauma surgery, plastic and burning surgery and liver transplant while also working in orthopedic and emergency medicine. 

In 2006, Dr Gibbs transitioned to emergency medicine and private practice focusing on concierge and aesthetic medicine. Dr Gibbs dynamic career and extensive surgical experience allowed him to begin his life long goals of assisting clients to achieve their health, fitness and lifestyle choices. 

By faith, Dr Gibbs was introduced to the field of Liposuction Surgery. Dr Gibbs fancied the opportunity to sculpt one's silhouette with liposuction techniques as a safe and effective modality that gives clients the chance to jumpstart and regain focus on their wellness and body image goals. 

Dr Gibbs redefined and improved his approach with liposuction and aesthetic medicine and adopted the term ‘Lipo-Sculpture’ to reflect the art of sculpturing to restore the body image. Dr Gibbs coupled this approach with the latest in Lipo-sculpture technique with the world leading non invasive skin tightening and rejuvenating technology. These developments gave way to DrG Liposculpture Center, where it is “All About You”. A concierge aesthetic non & minimal invasive approach to redoing you.
